Handspun Mohair, Wool, and English Angora Rabbit Fiber Yarn - BunOff!
This skein of handspun yarn is 3.2 ounces, approximately 103 yards of dk-to-worsted weight tweedy goodness. Made from an Oswego FiberWorks BunOff!, the yarn is 1/3 New Zealand romney wool (processed and dyed in the U.S.), 1/3 mohair, and 1/3 English angora rabbit fiber from our own homestead in upstate NY. The rabbits in service for this yarn were Preston and Betina.
This yarn is tweedy, with a soft halo from the angora and a sturdiness from the mohair, plus good bounce from the wool. It's just a lovely combination!
(If you're a handspinner, check out the separate listings for BunOffs! -- you can make your own handspun yarn from batts like this one! If you don't see the right BunOff listed, send me a message and I'll see if I have one left in inventory.)
This yarn and all products made from it should be hand washed and flat dried. This product is already spun, washed, and set -- ready to wing its way to your home or wherever you send it! Orders received by noon Eastern Standard Time on Wednesdays will ship out by U.S.P.S. on the following Thursday.
