Handspun Romney, Blended Wool, and English Angora Fiber Yarn - Spring Evening Bunowool
This skein is approximately 146 yards, 3.3 ounces of worsted weight English angora floof combined with sturdy dyed romney wool that has been blended with soft fiber breeds, such as Polwarth. The result is a tweedy yarn that's robust yet soft, and which will develop a halo in time. It's a light gray-green, with tweedy pops of gray-blue-white angora fiber.
This yarn was spun from a Spring Morning Bunowool, which are available in a separate listing for handspinners who wish to achieve their own weight of yarn. The yarn is 1/3 New Zealand romney wool that has been processed and dyed in the U.S., 1/3 blended sheep's wool raised and processed in NY, and 1/3 NY English angora rabbit fiber from our homestead in upstate NY. The rabbits in service for this yarn were Penny, Elaine, and Frederick.
