Handspun Romney, Blended Wool, and English Angora Fiber Yarn - My Kind of Red Bunowool

$28.00

This skein is approximately 128 yards, 3.3 ounces of worsted weight English angora floof combined with sturdy dyed romney wool that has been blended with soft hybrid sheep's wool. The result is a tweedy yarn that's robust yet soft, and which will develop a halo in time. It's a light gray-orange, with tweedy pops of gray-blue-white angora fiber.

This yarn was spun from an Orange Posset Bunowool, which may be available in a separate listing for handspinners who wish to achieve their own weight of yarn. The yarn is 1/3 New Zealand romney wool that has been processed and dyed in the U.S., 1/3 New England blended sheep's wool, and 1/3 NY English angora rabbit fiber from our homestead in upstate NY. The rabbits in service for this yarn were Penny, Elaine, and Frederick.

This yarn and all products made from it should be hand washed and flat dried. This product is already spun, washed, and set -- ready to wing its way to your home or wherever you send it! Orders received by noon Eastern Standard Time on Wednesdays will ship out by U.S.P.S. on the following Thursday.
